Good Way to Go

In light of recent events, many in this blog may see myself, the Sultan of the all-powerful Ottoman empire, on the brink of elimination. I would just like to say to you all, that this Ottoman refuses to be used as a simple footstool for resting your muddy boots of betrayal and ethnocentrism. Just because I'm not "European" in the traditional model, doesn't mean I should be gotten rid of. Also, contrary to Tom's picture, posted below, I am not tasty to eat, nor am I in fact a "Delight," as my pseudonym would have you believe.
I can promise you this, I will not go down without a fight, and if I do, at least I have an Imperial Harem in which I will die, surrounded by scores of whores, a-la Sardanopalus. Not a bad way to go at all.

Pesto and Pestilence

Sauntering into the party fashionably late, Italy has finally arrived.

I wanted to apologize to those of you who had e-mailed and called me. Work has been insanely busy and my inbox is a mess. Things are back to normal now and I plan to be a fully accessible and communicative diplomatic envoy for the Italian war machine spaghetti factory.

Part of my dawdling is due to the fact that I am now a salaried online journalist (read: blogger). This week I'm finalizing the details of moving to work full time at NewTeeVee.com and Earth2Tech.com. Below is a photo from my new work manual.
