All Hail Tom

Hey, everyone, I have an idea. I could try and fight Tom off and and keep Austria from getting into my borders just long enough for someone else to move in and take over. But what would that accomplish. It would just make the game go on so much longer. I've decided on a different path. I'm just going to retreat in the face of the Austrian advance. Like the lemmings, my armies will plummet in the seas. Besides, with that brilliant strategic move of uniting everyone against Russia and France, he really is the only one who deserves to win. In addition to my retreats, I'll be sending the remainder of my navy after England, just to spice things up a bit. Enjoy the Russian Armada Bill.

An Analysis of the Results

German and Turkish Forces continue to be a tipping weight to the scales of stalemated battlefields. Janissary units harass the Russians at every turn. The dockyards at Marsailles burn with the righteous fire of a pizza oven. While the fields of Warsaw will soon be host to an Austrian Octoberfest (All German Speakers invited).

In the West English fortunes have turned on the head of a pin. Careful guessing and generalship on the part of the Russians have dealt his northern adversary a devastating blow. And yet it is the fall and for each gain, another will lose.

Happy New Year Folks. The moves for Fall of 1905 are due on Thursday next week. I will be crazy busy from now until the moment I drop dead at the end of the year. After 9 turns the board is getting interesting and the stalemate appears to be lifting. To whose benefit remains to be seen. Lets see how many centers stand to be lost or gained this coming fall.
